Team Management
Organize students into teams and target specific classes to team members only. Perfect for A Teams, B Teams, Demo Teams, and other specialized training groups. This feature requires the Professional plan or higher.
- 1
Organize students by skill level or purpose
Create teams to group students with similar goals — like A Team for your top competitors, B Team for developing talent, Demo Team for performances, or Leadership Team for assistant instructors.
- 2
Target classes to specific teams
When creating or editing a class, you can assign one or more teams. Only students on those teams will see the class in their portal schedule and calendar feed.
- 3
Track team membership
Each team shows how many students are on it and which classes are targeted to that team. Students can be on multiple teams at once.
- 4
Plan-gated feature
Team Management are available on the Professional plan and higher. If you're on the Starter plan, you'll see an upgrade prompt when you visit the Teams page.

Multiple teams
Students can be on multiple teams at once. If a student is on both A Team and Demo Team, they'll see classes targeted to either team.
- 1
Create or edit a class
Go to Schedule > Create Class, or edit an existing class template.
- 2
Select teams
In the class form, find the 'Teams' section. Select one or more teams that should have access to this class.
- 3
Optional: Leave teams empty
If you don't select any teams, the class will be visible to all students (normal behavior). Only select teams if you want to restrict the class.
- 4
Save the class
Click 'Save'. The class will now only appear in the portal schedule and calendar feed for students who are on at least one of the selected teams.
- 5
Multiple teams per class
You can assign multiple teams to a class. For example, assign both A Team and B Team to an advanced sparring class. Any student on either team will see it.
How team filtering works
- 1
Team list
The Teams page shows all your teams with their colors, member counts, and the number of classes targeted to each team.
- 2
Team badges on students
On the Students page and student detail pages, you'll see color-coded badges showing which teams each student is on.
- 3
Team badges on schedule
On the Schedule and Calendar pages, team-targeted classes show color-coded badges indicating which teams can access them.
- 4
Team detail view
Click on a team name to see the full list of members and which classes are assigned to that team.
- 1
Edit team name or color
On the Teams page, click the 'Edit' button on a team row to change its name or color. Click 'Save' to apply changes.
- 2
Remove students
Click on a team, then 'Edit Members', and uncheck students to remove them. Removed students will no longer see classes targeted to that team.
- 3
Delete a team
Click the 'Delete' button on a team row to permanently delete the team. A confirmation dialog will warn you that this action cannot be undone.
- 4
What happens when you delete?
Deleting a team removes all student memberships and unlinks all classes from that team. The classes themselves are not deleted — they just won't be team-targeted anymore.
- 5
Confirmation required
You must confirm the deletion before it takes effect. Make sure you want to permanently remove the team before confirming.
