Marketing Handouts

Create printable materials branded with your studio logo and colors. Generate class schedules, pricing sheets, event flyers, studio info cards, belt testing flyers, welcome packets, certificates, student progress reports, and a text-to-join flyer. Print or download as PDFs.

Getting Started with Handouts
  1. 1

    Navigate to Handouts

Click 'Handouts' in the left sidebar to open the marketing handouts page.

  2. 2

    Choose a handout type

Use the tabs at the top to select which handout you want to create: Schedule, Pricing, Events, Studio Info, Belt Testing, Welcome, Certificate, Progress, or Text-to-Join.

  3. 3

    Preview your handout

The left side of the page shows a live preview of your handout, automatically populated with your studio data.

  4. 4

    Customize the design

Use the controls panel on the right to adjust the accent color, layout style, page orientation, location filter, and per-type field toggles.

Customizing Your Handouts
  1. 1

    Change accent color

Click the color picker or type a hex code to change the accent color used in headers, borders, and highlights. This color is applied to all handout types.

  2. 2

    Choose a layout

Select 'Compact' for a dense layout with smaller text (great for fitting more content), or 'Spacious' for a more visually appealing layout with larger text and belt rank badges.

  3. 3

    Set page orientation

Choose 'Portrait' for standard vertical layout or 'Landscape' for horizontal layout. Certificates default to landscape.

  4. 4

    Filter by location

Choose a specific location or 'All Locations' to control which classes, events, and info are shown on the handout.

  5. 5

    Toggle fields on or off

Each handout type has its own set of field toggles. For example, hide or show instructor names on the schedule, or toggle the staff list on studio info cards.

  6. 6

    Edit custom text

Some handouts (belt testing, welcome packet, certificate) have editable text sections. Type your own content for 'What to Bring', studio rules, or the certificate title.

Student-Specific Handouts
  1. 1

    Select a student

The Certificate and Progress Report tabs show a student selector dropdown. Choose the student you want to generate the handout for.

  2. 2

    Certificate

Generates a landscape diploma with the student's name, belt rank with color indicator, date, and signature line. Customize the title text (default: 'Certificate of Achievement').

  3. 3

    Progress Report

Shows the student's attendance stats (configurable: 30, 60, or 90 day period), curriculum progress by category, and individual item status.

  4. 4

    Select an event

The Events and Belt Testing tabs show an event selector. Choose the specific event to feature on the flyer.

Printing Handouts
  1. 1

    Click 'Print'

Click the 'Print' button in the controls panel to open your browser's print dialog.

  2. 2

    Check the preview

The print preview will show only the handout content — the sidebar, header, and controls are automatically hidden.

  3. 3

    Adjust print settings

Set the paper size to 'Letter' and margins to match your preference. The handout is designed for US Letter size paper with 0.5 inch margins.

  4. 4

    Print

Click 'Print' in the browser dialog to send the handout to your printer.

Downloading as PDF
  1. 1

    Click 'Download PDF'

Click the 'Download PDF' button in the controls panel. The PDF will be generated in your browser.

  2. 2

    Wait for generation

The button will show 'Generating...' while the PDF is being created. This usually takes a few seconds.

  3. 3

    Save the file

The PDF will automatically download with a filename based on your studio name and handout type (e.g., 'korea-tiger-mma-schedule.pdf').

  4. 4

    Share or print

Open the downloaded PDF to verify it looks correct, then share it via email, social media, or print physical copies.

Text-to-Join Flyer
  1. 1

    Requires a dedicated studio number

This flyer only renders once your studio has a dedicated Twilio number — get one from Leads → Settings. It's available even on plans without Marketing Handouts.

  2. 2

    What it shows

A print-ready flyer inviting walk-ins to text TRIAL to your dedicated number, with your formatted phone number front and center, a 3-step 'how it works' explainer, and an optional phone mockup showing the reply.

  3. 3

    Compliance text is fixed

The consent and 'Reply STOP to cancel' fine print at the bottom is always shown and cannot be toggled off — it's required for SMS compliance.

  4. 4

    Toggle steps and phone mockup

Use the controls panel to show or hide the numbered steps and the phone mockup, and edit the headline and subheadline text.
