Learn how to manage your studio's calendar, create special events, and keep your members informed about important dates like testing days, tournaments, and seminars.

The calendar displays both recurring classes and one-time events in a unified view. Classes appear based on your schedule templates, while events show up on their specific dates.

Color-coded display
Different types of activities are color-coded for easy identification. Classes typically appear in blue, while events show in different colors based on their type or category.

Filter options
Use the filter controls to show or hide classes, events, or specific locations. This is especially useful for multi-location studios or when you want to focus on special events only.

Switch views
Toggle between month, week, and day views to see your schedule at different levels of detail. The month view is great for planning, while day view helps with operational details.

Click Add Event
Navigate to the Calendar page and click the 'Add Event' button in the top right corner to open the event creation form.

Set event details
Enter a clear title for your event (e.g., 'Black Belt Testing' or 'Annual Tournament'). Add a detailed description to help members understand what to expect.

Choose location
Select which location the event will take place at. This helps members know where to go and filters the event properly in multi-location views.

Set date and time
Pick the start and end dates and times for your event. For all-day events like tournaments, toggle the 'All Day' option to remove specific times.

Save the event
Click 'Create Event' to save. The event will immediately appear on the calendar and members will be able to see it in their schedules.

Click on an event
Click any event on the calendar to open its detail view. This shows all event information and provides options to edit or delete.

Edit event details
Click the 'Edit' button to modify any aspect of the event including title, description, location, or timing. Changes are saved immediately.

Delete an event
If you need to cancel an event, click the 'Delete' button. You'll be asked to confirm before the event is permanently removed.

Update members
When you edit or delete an event, members who have the event in their calendar will see the updated information automatically.

Automatic notifications
The system automatically sends reminder notifications to members before upcoming events. This helps ensure good attendance and reduces no-shows.

Reminder timing
Members typically receive reminders 24 hours before an event, giving them time to prepare. Additional reminders may be sent for important events like testing days.

Email and in-app
Reminders are sent via email and appear in the member's dashboard notifications. Members can see all upcoming events in their personal calendar view.

Opt-out options
Members can manage their notification preferences in their account settings if they prefer fewer reminders.
