Broadcast Messaging
Send a single message to multiple recipients at once. Broadcast messaging lets you reach staff, all members, or targeted groups such as a belt rank, specific class, or competition team — all in one send.
- 1
Staff
Click the 'Staff' button to include all instructors, managers, and other staff members at your studio.
- 2
All Members
Click 'All Members' to reach every active member across all classes and locations.
- 3
Belt Rank

- 5

- 6

- 1
Subject (optional)
Enter a subject line for the message. This is used as the email subject when the Email channel is enabled. It is optional for in-app and SMS-only sends.
- 2
Message body
Type the body of your message in the text area. This is required. Keep SMS-bound messages concise — long messages may be split into multiple SMS segments.
- 1
In-App
Delivers to each recipient's in-app notification feed inside MyDojang. Recipients see a notification badge when they next log in.
- 2
Push
Sends a mobile push notification to recipients who have opted in to browser or device push notifications.
- 3
Email
Sends an email to each recipient's registered email address. The Subject field is used as the email subject line.
- 4
SMS
Sends a text message to each recipient's phone number. SMS usage counts toward your plan's monthly message limit.
- 5
Mix and match
You can enable or disable any combination of channels. At least one channel must be active (the Send button is disabled if all channels are off and recipients are selected).
- 1
Review recipient count
After selecting groups, the Recipients card shows an estimated recipient count. This updates automatically within half a second of changing your selection.
- 2
Click Send Message
When you are ready, click 'Send Message'. If SMS is enabled, a confirmation dialog will appear showing the estimated recipient count before the message is delivered.
- 3
SMS confirmation dialog
The SMS confirmation step is shown whenever the SMS channel is toggled on. Confirm to proceed, or cancel to go back and adjust your settings.
- 4
After sending
You will see a success toast with the final recipient count and be returned to the Messages page.
