• Account info: name, email, password (hashed), phone (optional)
• Studio info: studio name, address, phone, business hours
• Student data: name, date of birth, belt rank, attendance, curriculum progress
• Billing: processed by Stripe — we never store credit card numbers
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, error logs (with cookie consent)
• SMS opt-in: when a studio enables SMS notifications, we collect the mobile number and record of consent provided by the recipient

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Process billing and payments
• Send transactional emails (welcome, password resets, notifications)
• Send SMS notifications (only with explicit opt-in, as described below)
• Monitor and fix errors and performance issues
• Enforce our Terms of Service

• No sharing of mobile data: No mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for Twilio (our SMS delivery provider) and SendGrid, who process messages on our behalf.
• Opt-in: SMS messages are only sent to individuals who have explicitly opted in. Opt-in may occur through a web form, the member portal, or in-studio registration. Consent is specific to the studio and message program for which it was given.
• Message types: Studios may send class reminders, schedule updates, belt test announcements, billing alerts, and other studio-related notifications. Message frequency varies based on studio activity.
• Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
• Opt-out: Reply STOP to any text message to unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages will be sent. Reply START to re-subscribe.
• Help: Reply HELP for more information, or contact your studio directly.
• Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

• Parental consent required: Staff must confirm parental consent before entering data for children under 13
• Minimal data collection: Only name, DOB, belt rank, attendance, and curriculum progress
• No direct child accounts: Student data is managed by authorized staff or parents/guardians
• Parental access & deletion: Parents can view data in the member portal and request deletion at any time
• No advertising: We never use children's data for marketing

To request access to or deletion of your child's data, use the member portal settings or contact your studio directly.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing
