Hapkido's broad technique range — circular joint locks (kkokki), throws, sweeps, kicks at every height, and weapons work at advanced ranks — makes curriculum documentation more important than most martial arts. Different affiliating organizations (KHF, IHF, or independent grandmaster lineages) can have significantly different syllabus requirements per gup and dan.

MyDojang doesn't impose a standard curriculum. You define the belt ranks, assign specific technique categories to each gup level, and track individual student progress through joint locks, throws, kicks, and weapon sets. Belt test eligibility is automatic — the system checks attendance minimums and technique sign-offs and shows you who's ready when you schedule a test.
