A new Message Trends chart on the SMS log page breaks down your sent messages by type — missed class, upcoming class, payment reminders, and more — with 30-day and 12-month views.
## What's New
The **SMS Log** page now includes a **Message Trends** chart so you can see exactly how your monthly SMS credits are being used.
### What you'll see
- **Stacked bar chart** showing message volume broken down by type (Missed Class, Upcoming Class, Payment Past Due, Birthday Wish, Welcome, and more)
- **30-day view** — daily breakdown for the past month
- **12-month view** — monthly totals for the past year
### How to use it
1. Go to **SMS Log** in your dashboard.
2. The **Message Trends** card appears below your usage summary (visible once you have sent messages).
3. Toggle between **30d** and **12mo** using the buttons in the card header.
4. Hover over any bar to see the exact count per message type for that day or month.
### Why it's useful
- Quickly spot which automations are sending the most messages
- Identify months with unusually high volume before overage charges apply
- Understand your usage patterns to choose the right SMS plan or block package
