Flexible Billing: Online & Manual Payments

## Flexible Payment Options MyDojang now supports **hybrid billing** — you can choose how to collect payments on a per-plan basis. Each billing plan can be configured as either **ONLINE** (automated Stripe payments) or **MANUAL** (studio-tracked payments). ## Online Plans (Stripe) When you create or edit a billing plan and set the billing mode to **ONLINE**: - The plan automatically syncs to Stripe as a product + price - Parents can enroll via a Stripe Checkout Session with credit card payment - Subscriptions are managed automatically through Stripe - Payment status, renewals, and cancellations are handled for you ## Manual Plans For studios that collect payments via cash, check, or other methods, set the billing mode to **MANUAL**: - No Stripe sync — the plan exists only in MyDojang - Studio owners track payment status manually (Active, Pending Payment, Past Due, etc.) - Payment method and notes fields let you record how each student pays - Full control over billing status without payment processing fees ## What's Next Platform fee support is coming soon, allowing MyDojang to apply a small percentage fee to online transactions. This will enable the platform to scale sustainably while keeping costs transparent for studio owners.
